Day 5 Via the Oregon Coast to Newport, Oregon.
Begin our day with breakfast at the locals favorite Cottage Bakery. They have been baking True Artisan Bread since 1954. Long before the Pilgrims arrived and before Lewis and Clark walked these parts a century ago, Native Americans combined crushed cranberries with dried deer meat and melted fat to make pemmican, a convenient food that kept for a long time.
