Alex's Notes

Israel & Jordan is BACK!
This is one of my favorite programs from the European World Travel Vault (it's right up there with Egypt and Kenya & Tanzania). In 2010, Nicholas, Dominique and I took this amazing adventure. Sadly, Doreen stayed back to watch the fort. Ever since I have been praying to take her.

I'm also ecstatic to work with Helena Novak a longtime friend and Senior Vice President of Alexander + Roberts (formally General Tours) once again. My family and I have been working with Helena on this program since early 2000. Her knowledge of the Middle East is impressive, and this updated adventure is a Dream Maker.

Dream Making Adventure!
Yes, much of Israel and Jordan's history is related to the Bible, yet this program offers much more. It is a multi-cultural and historical journey dating back some 8000 years. Add to this the many unique features added by Helena and the fabulously located DELUXE hotels. This is another once-in-a lifetime itinerary.

My father taught me that when you visit a destination take-in all that is possible so there is no need to go back. I feel dad would be proud that we are keeping up his Family Tradition.

Special Features:
Six UNESCO Sites: White City of Tel Aviv; MegiddoValley of Armageddon; Old City of Jerusalem; Fortress of Masada; Rose City of Petra (Seven NEW Wonders of the World); and the landscapes of Wadi Rum.

Unique Experiences: a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, mingle with merchants at the Mahene Yehuda Market, Shabbat Dinner in Jerusalem; cable car ride to the Fortress of Masada; float in the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth; lunch with a Palestinian Christian family in Bethlehem; home cooked meal at the base of Mt. Nebo; barbecue lunch inside Petra; a hands-on culinary experience at the Petra Kitchen; drive through the desert landscape in 4WD vehicles and ride a camel in Wadi Rum.
